Standing fourth from right is a French interpreter; standing seventh from right is 2/Lt. St. John Battersby; seated sixth from left is Q.M. Hon. Lt. T. Smith with A/Maj. John Victor Kershaw, Lt. Col. Edward Leopold Reiss and Capt. Francis Geoffrey Macalpine on his left; seated second from right is 2/Lt. Bart Endean. Tentative indentifications are Capt. Jack Duff, stood eighth from left , Capt. Frederick Arnold Heys, seated fifth from right, and Capt. James Ramsbottom, seated fourth from left. Any help towards further identification of these officers would be greatly appreciated.
